Diversity Awards Celebration

San Diego State University's annual Diversity Awards return on Wednesday, April 29 to celebrate the campus community's commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice.
The ceremony, which runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m., will take place in Montezuma Hall in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

In addition to celebrating SDSU's diverse culture, the event was created to highlight and acknowledge Cultural Competency Certificate recipients, Student Research Symposium diversity researchers and corporate and community supporters for their contributions to diversity and social justice.
The SDSU Diversity Awards are annually presented to student organizations, faculty, staff and alumni or community partners. A new award has been added to this year's lineup — the Global Diversity Award, which is open to individuals or groups, for exemplary contributions to international understanding, diversity and inclusion.
